Certification tracking for BambooHR

BambooHR knows who works for you. It doesn't track whether each person's forklift ticket, first aid or fall protection is still current. Cadre adds that, and keeps its staff list in sync with BambooHR so new hires, changes and leavers show up without anyone retyping them.

What the connection does

  • New hires appear in Cadre with their job title, department and manager, ready for the certifications their role needs.
  • Changes flow through. A new title, department or manager in BambooHR updates Cadre on the next sync.
  • Leavers are handled. Someone marked inactive with a termination date in BambooHR is marked as left in Cadre and stops getting renewal reminders. Nobody is deleted.
  • You see every change first. Cadre previews what it will create, update and mark as left, and applies it only when you say so.

Connecting it

  1. In BambooHR, create an API key from your account menu.
  2. In Cadre, open Settings, then Integrations, and paste your BambooHR company subdomain and the key.
  3. Press Preview, check the list of changes, then Apply.

Questions

Does Cadre replace BambooHR?

No. BambooHR stays your staff list. Cadre reads it and adds certification, training and compliance tracking on top, so nobody retypes employees into a second system.

What does Cadre read from BambooHR?

Each employee's name, work email, job title, department, manager, hire date and status. Cadre does not write anything back to BambooHR.

What happens when someone leaves?

When BambooHR shows them as inactive with a termination date, Cadre marks them as left on the next sync, so they stop getting renewal reminders and drop off the current list. Nobody is deleted.

How do I connect it?

Create an API key in your BambooHR account, then paste your BambooHR company subdomain and the key into Cadre's Integrations settings. Cadre shows a preview of every change before anything is applied.

Is the API key stored safely?

The key is encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save it; Cadre displays only its last four characters.
